           ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS IN NUCLEAR SPECTROSCOPY

    On September, 2-5, 1996 the Section of nuclear spectroscopy 
of Russian Academia of Science scientific board on nuclear physics 
jointly with RFNC-VNIIEF with participation of St. Petersburg 
University hold the XI-th International workshop on accurate 
measurements in nuclear spectroscopy in Sarov (TIYaS-XI).

    It is planned to discuss the accuracy of modern nuclear-
spectroscopic measurements, the ways to improve accuracy of the
measurements, current tasks of nucleus physics, which require
improvement of measurement accuracy in nuclear spectroscopy, and
selected issues of applied character, which require particularly
accurate methods of nuclear-spectroscopic measurements.

    Also theoretical papers on current issues of nucleus physics
and nuclear reactions can be submitted.

    The workshop will be held in RFNC-VNIIEF because of the 50-th
anniversary of the Institute, that is why the workshop will also
cover the issues of nuclear-physical studies  carried out at the
Institute.

     The possible topics of presentations (with the abstracts of
one page) can be submitted to the Organizational  Committee to the

     The second call will inform the authors about the accepted papers.

     Personal invitations will be sent by the Organizational Committee
based on the abstracts in April-May, 1996.

     Working languages will be Russian and English.

     The registration fee is $200 of US.

     To be published in the workshop proceedings one needs to send
two copies of the manuscript not more than 5 typewritten pages (165x235
mm) 1.5 paced, suitable for direct reproduction before March, 15, 1996
