Mehta et al./3/ measured the 328 1451 28 differential cross section of neutron production in the energy 328 1451 29 range Ea= threshold-15MeV at forward angle(0+/-15deg.). The 328 1451 30 measured cross sections and differential cross sections show 328 1451 31 many resonance structures and analyzed with an approximated 328 1451 32 R-matrix formula/4/. The calculated cross section was adjusted 328 1451 33 to reproduce the thick target neutron yields measured by Bair 328 1451 34 and Gomez del Campo/5/.Thick target neutron yield was calcul- 328 1451 35 ated using alpha particle stopping power given by Ziegler/6/. 328 1451 36 328 1451 37 MT=4, 22 (a,n), (a,a'n) 328 1451 38 The ratio of each cross section of neutron emission to neut- 328 1451 39 ron production cross section was calculated with a modified 328 1451 40 EXIFON code(named "mEXIFON")/7/ and each cross section was 328 1451 41 calculated by multiplying the ratio to the evaluated neutron 328 1451 42 production cross section. So, it 328 1451 69 will give better results, on an average, to adopt statistical 328 1451 70 model for the calculation of energy-angle distributions. 328 1451 71 Emitted neutron contineous energy spectrum were calculated 328 1451 72 with the mEXIFON code for each reaction.
