The neutron widths were evaluated on the basis 4449 1451 48 of the data of Priesmeyer and Jung, and of Macklin and 4449 1451 49 Halperin. The radiation widths of large resonances were taken4449 1451 50 from Ref./8/ For the others, the average radiation width of 4449 1451 51 0.103+-0.018 eV was deduced, and adopted to the levels whose 4449 1451 52 radiation width was unknown. Seven hypothetical resonances 4449 1451 53 were generated in the energy range from 2 to 2.7 keV. For the4449 1451 54 levels observed by Shaw et al. and the hypothetical ones, 4449 1451 55 reduced neutron widths of 12 and 38 meV were given for s-wave 4449 1451 56 and p-wave resonances, respectively. A negative resonance was4449 1451 57 added at -941 eV so as to reproduce the capture cross section 4449 1451 58 of 0.32+-0.02 barns at 0.0253 eV/9/. 4449 1451 59 For JENDL-3, parameters of the first positive and negative 4449 1451 60 resonances were modified so as to reproduce the resonance 4449 1451 61 integral recommended by Mughabghab et al./9/ Scattering 4449 1451 62 radius was reduced from 6.35 fm to 6.1 fm on the basis of the 4449 1451 63 systematics. 4449 1451 64 4449 1451 65 Unresolved resonance region : 11.12 keV - 300 keV 4449 1451 66 The neutron strength functions, S0 and S2 were calculated with4449 1451 67 optical model code CASTHY/10/, and S1 was based on the the 4449 1451 68 compilation of Mughabghab et al./9/ The observed level 4449 1451 69 spacing was determined to reproduce the capture cross section 4449 1451 70 calculated with CASTHY. The 4449 1451 102 OMP's for charged particles are as follows: 4449 1451 103 proton = Perey/14/ 4449 1451 104 alpha = Huizenga and Igo/15/ 4449 1451 105 deuteron = Lohr and Haeberli/16/ 4449 1451 106 helium-3 and triton = Becchetti and Greenlees/17/ 4449 1451 107 Parameters for the composite level density formula of Gilbert 4449 1451 108 and Cameron/18/ were evaluated by Iijima et al./19/ More 4449 1451 109 extensive determination and modification were made in the 4449 1451 110 present work. Table 2 shows the level density parameters used 4449 1451 111 in the present calculation.
