    - Resolved resonance region (MLBW formula): below 4.4 keV
Evaluation of JENDL-2 was carried out on the basis of the
data measured by Ribon et al./1/. The neutron orbital
angular momentum l was assumed to be 0 for all the 5 levels
up to 3.9 keV. The neutron widths of the 5 levels were
derived from the g*(neutron width) data and total spin j
measured by Ribon et al. Although the radiation widths were
also measured by Ribon et al., the consistency among the
neutron, radiation, and total widths was not well. Then, in
JENDL-4 the radiation width was derived as the difference
between the total width and neutron width of each resonance
level, because the percent error of the radiation width was
remrkably larger than those of the neutron and total widths.
A negative resonance level was added at -160 eV so as to
reproduce the thermal capture cross section of 445+-45 mb at
0.0253 eV measured by Kondaiah et al./2/. The scattering
radius was taken from the graph (fig. 1, Part A) given by
      Mughabghab et al./3/

    - Unresolved resonance region: 3.6 keV - 250 keV
The parameters were obtained by fitting to the total and
capture cross sections calculated by the POD code /4/.
The ASREP code /5/ was employed in this evaluation.
The unresolved parameters should be used only for
      self-shielding calculation.

***************************************************************
1. Theoretical models
The POD code is based on the spherical optical model, the
distorted-wave Born approximaiton (DWBA), one-component exciton
preequilibrium model, and the Hauser-Feshbach-Moldauer statis-
tical model. With the preequilibrium model, semi-empirical
pickup and knockout process can be taken into account for
composite-particle emission. The gamma-ray emission from the
compound nucleus can be calculated within the framework of the
exciton model. The code is capable of reading in particle
transmission coefficients calculated by separate spherical or
coupled-channel optical model code. In this evaluation, the OPTMAN
code /6/ was employed for neutrons, while the ECIS code
/8/ was adopted for charged particles.
