JENDL Deuteron Reaction Data File 2020 (JENDL/DEU-2020) has been developed for design studies of intensive fast neutron sources using deuteron accelerators.
Evaluated deuteron-induced reaction data are stored up to 200 MeV for Li-6,7, Be-9, and C-12,13 which are commonly used as a deuteron target material in the above accelerator-based neutron sources.
The data have been evaluated by using the code system DEURACS with particular attention to neutron production data.
JENDL/DEU-2020 provides double-differential cross-sections for emitted neutrons, protons, deuterons, tritons, helium-3 nuclei, alpha-particles and gamma-rays.
It also includes production cross-sections of residual nuclei as well as the total-reaction and elastic scattering cross-sections.
In addition to the original ENDF-6 format files, two application libraries based on JENDL/DEU-2020 have beed developed for use in transport calculation with Monte Carlo codes.
One is an ACE format file for the MCNP code (version 6.1.1 and later) and the other is a "Frag Data" format file for the PHITS code (version 3.20 and later).
