Polarized neutron scattering data for the nuclei 27Al, natCr, natCu, 89Y, natW, natPb, 209Bi, 232Th and 238U were analyzed in terms of spherical, coupled channels and microscopic optical model potentials. The measurements at typical 7.75 MeV neutron energy were performed at the Stuttgart SCORPION facility.
