Many radioisotopes for medical applications are produced by using charged particle induced reactions. The compilation were made for 400 excitation functions and yields for 20 radioisotopes and for impurities. It is realized that the discrepancies exists sometimes between different experiments. The use of monitor reactions is stressed. Suggestion is made to use projectile fragmentation by heavy ion induced reaction to produce carrier free neutron rich isotopes. Some code calculation results are commented.
