Usage for “Search for Resolved Resonances”
This tool is to retrieve information on resolved resonances, which is based on the resolved resonance parameters
in resonance region adopted for all nuclides in JENDL-4.0.
~ How to operate ~
- [Res. Energy (Er)] input
- Lower and/or upper boundary of “resonance energy” can be input in [eV].
These inputs are not necessary when a search by resonance energy is not required.
- [Peak CS (σ-peak)] input
- Lower and/or upper boundary of “resonance peak cross section” can be input in [barn].
These inputs are not necessary when a search by resonance peak cross section is not required.
- [Atomic # (Z)] input
- Lower and/or upper boundary of “atomic numbers” can be input.
These inputs are not necessary when a search by atomic number is not required.
- [Mass # (A)] input
- Lower and/or upper boundary of “mass numbers” can be input.
These inputs are not necessary when a search by mass number is not required.
- [Sorting] selection
- Sorting of search result in ascending or descending order can be selected from resonance energy
or resonance peak cross section.
By default, data are sorted by resonance energy in ascending order.
- [Show result] button
- Information on resolved resonances is shown as table data by clicking the “Show Result” button.
The corresponding information will appear, if the above settings are specified.
- [Download] button
- The same table data shown on your browser is downloaded as a text file by clicking the “Download” button.
~ Explanation for table data ~
(From left to right) Resonance energy (Er in [eV]), angular momentum (L), spin (J),
neutron width (Γn in [eV]), gamma width (Γγ in [eV]), fission width (Γf1, Γf2 in [eV]),
peak cross section (σ-peak in [barn]),

JENDL-4.0 (Target), link to Figure of cross sections (Fig1) on the JENDL-4.0 web page (Fig).
~ Link to data files ~
“Link to data files” is link to resonance parameter files of nuclides contained in JENDL-4.0.
In the files, upper boundary energy of resolved resonance region applied to JENDL-4.0 is described on the first line
with a symbol “$ EHIGH:”,
and resonance energy [eV], angular momentum, spin, neutron width [eV], gamma width [eV],
fission width (Γf1, Γf2) [eV] from left to right below the first line.
